Write what I know part 2

Ever since I was a little kid I’ve always wanted to be on the color guard. I was fascinated with the beautiful flags and just the whole concept of it. So when I got to high school I tried out for it and got in. Color guard is a much more complex art than people think it is. When you’re spinning you think about several different things at the same time.

One sunny day during practice I was feeling a bit nauseous and wasn’t feeling very good at all. But I said to myself “you have to push through right now”. Then my coach comes to us and says “we can this new choreography, please learn from Stacia ASAP” and this choreography had one of the hardest flag toss ever.

My friends and I tried it together and then one second I’m releasing the toss and I can’t see much because its so sunny and then the next second I feel this huge thing hit me on my forehead. I couldn’t process the whole situation and fell to the ground. This was one of those moments where you don’t really know to do.

SCUBA MADNESS

Once upon a time a group of 10 people went scuba diving. They had one instructor was very experienced in diving and was very helpful. They took the swimming pool lesson in the morning and then went ate breakfast and were ready to go into the ocean and see some real stuff. They were on the boat ready to leave and suddenly they felt the boat shake but they thought that was normal. They get off the boat and into the ocean approximately 15 feet under the water. Everyone was doing just okay and they were enjoying all the fish and colorful corals. After about 20 minutes in Michelle one of the people diving started panicking and no one understood why. She couldn’t speak to them because they were underwater. Then she starts pointing to like this humongous creature that was extremely scary. The guide quickly found out that this creature was shark! Everyone started panicking including the guide. They decided to hide behind a big rock and slowly leave when the shark is distracted. That’s what they did and the shark slowly went away and this was it, this was when they could’ve swam away to the top. They all started swimming away except Andrew because his suit was stuck in the rock. Everyone else tried to Andrew and finally his suit came off and they could swim to the boat.

Hello my name is Shalini Parepally and I’m here to tell you a little about Jolly pop.

I know you’re probably very confused about what a Jolly pop is but if you like Jolly Ranchers and Push Pops you have to try this!!

Jolly pops are the best of both the worlds and they are heavenly.

Jolly pops come in 5 different flavors: strawberry, cherry, grape, cola and berry blast.

Jolly pops are much healthier than push pops and jolly ranchers.

Jolly pops are also only 99 cents!

Improved Fantasy Home

Hi my name is Michelle. I’m a Vampire and I’m 659 years old. My dream home would have bottles and bottles of blood and the smell would make my mouth water. There would little jars of blood candy all around the house that were made with the richest blood in the whole world. My dream house would have 3 stories and it would be huge. It would be completely dark and it would have 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a game room and a swimming pool. It would have a cool a slide that extends from the 3rd story to the 1st. This would make my house extremely fun and enjoyable. My bed room would be extremely cozy and my bed would be as soft as feathers. My house would be completely sound proof so I could jam out music without disturbing other people. I would always have a bunch of junk food so I would never be hungry. My house from the outside would be grey and white. My house would be controlled totally by an electronic system. It can basically do anything I ask it to. When I say please increase the temperature it will go ahead and do it. This will make my life much easier.

Story time

Kuchipudi is a form of Indian Classical dance that originated in the 17th century. It is one of the most rigorous Indian dance forms, combining a set of intricate hand and leg movements along with engaging facial expressions. Once a Kuchipudi dancer has mastered this art form, he or she gives a 6-8 hour long performance known as a “Kuchipudi Rangapravesam”. It consists of a series of continuous dance pieces where each piece lasts anywhere between 10-30 minutes.

While most Kuchipudi dancers perform their Rangapravesam at the age of 16 or above, I was posed with the challenge of giving mine at the tender age of 13 years. My sister was ready to give her performance when she was 17. Since my parents wanted to conduct the ceremony only once, I was challenged to dance at the same level as her, someone whom I had always looked up to as a dance inspiration. At first, I had declined my parents instantly; however, after thinking more about it, I realized that it would be extremely difficult to conduct the whole ceremony twice. Therefore, I gathered all the courage I had and took up the challenge.   The five months leading up to the performance were the toughest of my life but I pushed through.

On the day of the performance, the audience was filled with thousands of my family’s closest friends and relatives. Although the 6-hour long show was the most tiring experience, performing in front of all of them and bringing smiles on their faces, made this the best day of my life. The joy in my grandparents’ eyes made this the most rewarding experience ever. I couldn’t have been more proud of myself and I know that my parents were too.

Seagull blog

Image result for types of gulls

Hi my name is Mary Elizabeth seagull. I have grey wings and a white body. I love to eat pretty much anything and my second favorite thing to do is to sleep. I LOVE TO NAP by the river with the soothing sounds of the ocean and the shade from the huge oak tree. In the evening I go to the sea and look for more food. My favorite food is the small fish that is super fresh.

If I was a fish that was being eaten by a seagull I would live my life in fear. I would be scared to live my life and have fun. I would be underwater most of the times and would the make the most out of it. I would chill with my other fishie friends.
